Grow Tent FAQ

1. Promote photosynthesis: The inner "wall" of the reflective polyester film of the growing tent can ensure that your plants get sufficient high-quality light from all angles, without light leakage. This eliminates the problem of yellowing of the lower leaves and/or weakening and failure of stems and branches that do not face the light source. Every surface of every plant will get plenty of light. The tent is "protected from light" or "opaque", so you can control the intensity and exposure of the light received by the plants.
2. Controllable environment: bring a grow tent; you can fully control the temperature and humidity levels, so you can focus on establishing perfect growth conditions for any plants you want.
3. Save money: Compared with controlling the climate and ventilation of the entire room, the cost of controlling the climate and ventilation of the small planting tent is much lower.
4. Odor control: When applying liquid plant fertilizers or chemicals on plants, you don’t need to worry about odors affecting your indoor air quality. They will continue to be confined to growth tents.
5. Control noise: The best quality tents will actually suppress noise. If you agree with the theory that music, white noise, or other sounds are beneficial to the successful growth of plants, then if you buy a high-quality grow tent with a sound buffering function, you can provide this atmosphere for your plants and prevent these sounds from entering your living environment.

Through our tests and the experience of various users, combined with the various nutrients required by plants, we have come up with the following recommendations:
  • 2x2ft. Grow Tents- These can fit around 2 mature plants in 5-7 gallon pots.
  • 2x4ft. to 3x3ft. Grow Tents- These tents can fit 2-4 plants in 5-7 gallon pots.
  • 4x4ft. to 4x5ft. Grow Tents- These are able to fit 4-6 plants comfortably in 5-7 gallon pots.
  • 5x5ft. Grow Tents- These tents can fit around 5-6 plants comfortably in 5-7 gallon pots.
  • 6x6ft. to 7x7ft. Grow Tents- These grow tents can house 6-8 plants comfortably in 5-7 gallon pots lined.
  • 8x4ft. Grow Tents- These grow tents can house up to 8-10 plants comfortably in 5-7 gallon pots.
  • 8x8ft. to 9x9ft. Grow Tents- These can house around 14-16 plants comfortably growing in 5-7 gallon pots.
  • 10x10ft and Larger Grow Tents- These can hold up to 30 plants comfortably that grow in 5-7 gallon pots.

Although it is more cost-effective to grow outdoors, it is not 100% reliable. Some people do not have the space to grow outdoors, or the plants they plant cannot be grown outdoors. Indoor grow tent are very suitable for people who live in apartments or do not have a yard.

Even if there are many people who have the conditions to grow outdoors, the outdoor environment is not stable enough to guarantee the quality of the harvest after harvest. During the year, the weather is changeable. Sunlight, carbon dioxide concentration, temperature and humidity are uncontrollable factors. Everything needed for high production is uncontrollable. If you have a tent, these factors will become controllable. , So as to carry out sustainable high yield.

Planting tents help you control the environment of the growing room. A stable environment is essential for high-quality production. Reflective materials can ensure that your plants are fully illuminated during the entire process of the planting lights. Covers help maintain the temperature and humidity levels in the garden so that they can grow in the most suitable environment for their growth. All in all, with a planting tent, you can completely control the garden environment.

Grow tents are best placed where there is space, but this is not the best location. The following editor will explain in detail for everyone, where is the best position~
Adequate power supply: There will be a lot of electrical equipment in the grow tent. If there is no electricity, then growting tents will be useless.
Airflow is usually: plants need to breathe, you need to let plants breathe fresh air, so that plants can perform better photosynthesis.
Therefore, the best position is the position that meets the above two points. Finally, I wish you a smooth planting and a happy life~

Planting outdoors, it is inevitable that many insects and birds will eat your beloved plants, so planting a tent is the best way to keep them out. The walls of the grow tent can block the realization of the outside world, and can use carbon filters to block odors, so that your plants have a strong protective film on the outside, and you can also protect the indoor garden from neighbors, pets and pests. Therefore, whether you are doing more concealed planting or pest control to avoid turning plants into a bug buffet, tents are the best way to ensure plant safety.

The standard suggests that your goal should be 32-50 watts per square foot of grow tents. If your planting space is a dedicated vegetable tent, it is more like 25 watts. Therefore, if you work in a 3'x 3'space, you theoretically need an LED light with a power between 225 watts (plants) and 450 watts (flowering).

For family planting, the first thing to consider when choosing a suitable grow tent is the size of the growing tent. Planting tents generally need to occupy a rectangular or square area.

First:It is recommended that you choose a good location and size before choosing a planting tent.

Second: Choose according to the type of plants you need to plant, or how many pots to plant at a time. Many plants can be placed in a Grow Tent, but if you want your plants to grow better, it is not recommended that you plant many plants at once. When there are more plants inside, try to leave a little space between each pot of plants. Let plants better receive light and better absorb carbon dioxide. Only then can plants grow better.

The temperature inside the growing tent should not exceed 31°C (the highest temperature) and should be higher than 17°C (the lowest temperature), but the ideal temperature is between 20 and 28°C.
The relative humidity should not exceed 75% (maximum) and should not fall below 20% (minimum). The ideal humidity is between 40% and 60%. Sometimes it can exceed 90%. If it only occurs on specific occasions, then it shouldn't be a problem. In our growing space, we need a thermometer and hygrometer to control these parameters.
